Yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me...

If you were forced to live out your days at sea then this would be the way to do it. I'm just not too sure about using zombies to fuel your stoves.

  2. Thanks for finding and sharing this! I posted a silmular idea elsewhere before, however it was only a single barge for living:
Let me start with a dream-
Take a good sized barge and stack shipping containers two high around the perimeter. The top containers would be used for housing and water storage, maybe solar panels, wind generators, and gardens could be on the tops.
The lower containers would be used for equipment, batteries, storage, and sea water desalination systems. Among other survival needs, food stuffs, clothes/gear, weapons and tools.
The open space in the center would be multipurpose. Cooking, working, meeting, whatever is needed. A "I" beam grid could be run from the top of the containers, allowing for support and coverage from the elements.
Now you would float this barge off one of the San Juan Islands or some other farmable type resource. Supplement with other boats for fishing/foraging.
